Chicken with Garlic Parmesan Rice
Start with Searing the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sear until browned and thoroughly cooked, then set aside.
Prepare the Flavor Base: In the same skillet, add butter, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and ½ tsp of salt. Sauté for a few minutes before increasing the heat to add white wine. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Cook the Rice: Add the uncooked rice to the skillet, followed by chicken broth and the remaining salt. Bring to a low boil, then simmer on medium-low heat, covered, stirring often, until the rice is tender.
Combine and Finish: Sprinkle Parmesan over the rice and arrange the chicken tenders on top. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve with Pan Sauce: Drizzle the reserved pan sauce over the chicken before serving.
