Soft apple pie

Prepare a dough with the eggs, sugar, butter, flour and baking powder and bake it in a springform pan for about 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
Core the apples, peel them and brown them in a little apple juice. Then drain them on a colander. Bring 1/2 liter of apple juice to the boil and stir in the pudding powder (as directed on the back of the packet, just add the apple juice). Now add the apples to the pudding and bring to the boil again. The consistency should now be sticky. Pour the mixture onto the precooked dough, spread it out and bake the cake for another 5 minutes.
For the filling, separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Mix the egg yolks, sour cream and sugar and fold in the egg whites. Spread the frosting evenly over the cake and continue baking until the frosting is golden yellow.
Let the cake sit briefly with the oven door slightly open and only remove it from the pan when it has completely cooled.
